Smoothies = quick + simple. A strawberry-banana smoothie is perfect for breakfast on the go, or enjoyed as an after dinner snack, and every scenario in between; especially on a hot summer day! It makes two servings, which is the perfect size for a Nutribullet. But―if you have a blender, I would suggest making a larger batch so you can pour the extra into a popsicle mold and freeze for fruit pop fun!🍡
One little side note...I prefer using well ripened/spotted bananas, as they are a bit sweeter.
1 ½ Bananas, frozen🍌
1 C Strawberries, frozen
1 Hand-full of salad mix
½ C Plain, full fat yogurt
1 C Milk (your preference)
½ TBS Chia seeds, optional
1 TBS Flax seed, ground, optional
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth and uniform in color. Serve immediately, or freeze in popsicle molds.
